Junior Golf
Here at the John Kim Golf Academy we are proud to announce that we will be offering year-round programs for junior golfers whether they are just getting into the game, intermediate players, or seasoned tournament players.
Progressing Juniors Toward Par or Better On and Off the Course
The John Kim Golf Junior Academy uses the Operation 36® framework to structure our program. It consists of Coaching, Playing, and Training programs and is designed to teach golfers to play the game from a hole out perspective. Each golfer will be issued a profile in the Operation 36® Mobile App to track progress through a 6-level curriculum that is designed to set appropriate objectives and challenge each student towards shooting par or better (score of 36) for 9 holes.
PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 13 and under to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends.
Each team is captained by a PGA or LPGA Professional, who serves as the coach and is at the forefront of creating a welcoming environment for all to enjoy the game. PGA Junior League Golf utilizes a popular scramble format that creates a nurturing environment for learning and development – both on and off course.
Signups for the PGA Jr. League at the John Kim Golf Academy will start on March 1, 2018
PGA Junior Golf Camps are coming to the John Kim Golf Academy at the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club Summer 2018. Boys and girls of all abilities will learn the fundamentals of the game within a fun and engaging environment under the supervision of PGA Professional John Kim.

The Drive, Chip & Putt Championship was a joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America. The Drive, Chip and Putt Championship (held at Augusta National) is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.

John Kim Golf Academy is excited to offer training sessions for juniors signed up to participate in Drive, Chip, & Putt local qualifying. Training will specifically target each area of the competition and is designed to prepare juniors for optimum performance through weekly simulated competitions utilizing Trackman technology. Juniors are encouraged to attend multiple sessions to reach their potential! Training will run weekly starting March of 2018.
